Villa nigrifrons gehört zur Unterfamilie Anthracinae.
Verbreitung:
Kanarische Inseln (endemische Art).
Anmerkung:
Villa nigrifrons ist die häufigste Art der Gattung auf den Kanaren. Zwei weitere Arten (
Villa albiventris und
Villa nigriceps) wurden bisher nicht auf Fuerteventura, sondern nur auf den anderen Inseln gefunden. Für eine sichere Artbestimmung ist die Untersuchung der männlichen Genitalien erforderlich.
