Einordnung:
Anacampsis populella gehört zur Unterfamilie Anacampsinae, Tribus Anacampsini.
Verbreitung:
Europa, in Nordamerika eingeschleppt.
Ähnliche Arten:
Die Falter von Anacampsis populella und Anacampsis blattariella sind sehr variabel in der Zeichnung und nur durch Genitaluntersuchung sicher zu bestimmen.
Lebensweise:
Wirtspflanzen der Raupen von Anacampsis populella sind Pappeln (Populus) und Weiden (Salix).
Anmerkung:
Die Raupen von 2018 und 2020 habe ich in gerollten Blättern von Espen (Populus tremula) gefunden und bis zum Falterschlupf weitergezüchtet.
