Classification:
Sturmia bella belongs to the subfamily Exoristinae.
Annotation:

The tachinid Sturmia bella shown here couldn`t fully inflate one wing after emerging. As a larva it has eaten its host Aglais io, has subsequently left the host pupa and pupated itself. The length of its pupa was 9 mm.
